Katherine LithgowAs a Faculty Liaison with the Centre for Teaching Excellence (CTE), Katherine Lithgow helps instructors in the Faculty of Applied Health Sciences design and implement innovative learning activities which engage students online and in the classroom. Katherine also facilitates e-portfolio/integrative learning initiatives supporting instructors across campus with the design and implementation of activities which help students integrate learning that takes place in academic, workplace, community and social environments. Prior to joining the CTE, Katherine was with the Distance and Continuing Education department (now the Centre for Extended Learning) where she helped instructors design learning activities for online courses. She holds a Master's in Educational Technology from the University of British Columbia, and received her BA from the University of Toronto.  In what seems like another life, Katherine graduated from the Michener Institute for Applied Health Sciences (TMI) where she later taught in the Diagnostic Cytology program, and has worked as a cytotechnologist in a number of teaching hospitals.
